Studer CT960 B-axis spindle shines at complex grinding tasks

Schliefring Group's Studer CT960 high end universal internal grinding machine features a B-axis that swivels from +60º to -91º and a four-spindle turret. As well as general grinding tasks, it is particularly suited to complex workpieces in toolmaking. Its stability and rigidity support finish-grinding to polished surface quality.

A workhead C-axis for form and thread grinding and a manual A-axis for more precise thread grinding are also provided by the Studer CT960. Various dressing options are available. Bells and whistles include SimCT simulation software and a measuring probe. Video shows SimCT
