With InvoMilling 1.0 software, which features graphics, milling path generation and simulation functionality, CNC programs are generated to produce different gear profiles using a limited range of standard precision tools. It has been developed by Sandvik Coromant and Euklid, a company specialising in gear and CADCAM solutions.
Combined with the dedicated InvoMilling cutters CoroMill 161 and CoroMill 162, Sandvik Coromant says the InvoMilling 1.0 package is aimed at machining small and medium sized batches when short lead-times are a priority.
