Mastercam's Blade Expert is a designed to generate efficient, smooth, and gouge-free toolpaths for complex bladed parts. It minimises unnecessary motion at the machine in the interests of toolpath efficiency and superior finish quality.
Multi-bladed parts come in many configurations but, says Mastercam, Blade Expert turns such machining challenges into a matter of routine. Blade Expert, enables the user to remove material from between the blades; finish the blades/splitters and finish the floor and fillets.
The Blade Expert software provides efficient and smooth cut patterns; automatic stock model awareness to eliminate air cuts; automatic tool axis control to ensure collision-free toolpaths and accurate tool tip control for seamless blending and transformation.
