LVD launches 220T, 3m ToolCell press brake
LVD is now offering a 220 ton, 3 m bed version of its ToolCell press brake, which houses all tooling inside the machine and performs tooling set-ups automatically.
A large selection of top and bottom tooling on LVD's ToolCell is stored in a tooling stadium/warehouse under the back gauge, while a gripper built into the machine's back gauge finger serves as the tool changer mechanism. When a job is complete, the press brake changes the top and bottom tooling as required for the next job automatically. According to LVD, all tool stations are positioned precisely, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. LVD's patented Easy-Form Laser in-process angle monitoring and correction technology ensures first part bending accuracy.
The 220 ton, 3m model, adds to the existing 220 ton, 4m version and the 135 ton, 3m machine.
