Latest Theorem Visualize 3D for Creo-JT supports Creo 5.0

Theorem Solutions has released its latest Creo to JT product, part of the Visualize 3D suite. V21.3 supports Creo 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0, along with JT 10.0, and includes general improvements to read and write functions.

Among the newly developed features and enhancements of V21.3 is the addition of read and write property functions to/from Creo Parameters so that any non-graphical data is maintained in both directions, ensuring source data is successfully recreated in the target system.

Another improvement is the introduction of the instance argument ‘list all family table instances’ to the UI – giving the user more options when processing the file from the UI. This function will help users present the PDF display in a suitable manner.

Theorem’s Visualize 3D products are aimed at creating visualisation data for users of digital mock-up, virtual reality or desktop applications. If required, this unidirectional product can be licensed with the company’s JT to Creo converter to create a bi-directional product.

Using JT with additional 3D PMI data as part of a model-based definition process allows the user to reduce the overall design costs associated with creating conventional 2D drawings. Sharing Creo data using the neutral ISO standard JT format permits organisations to protect the IP of their designs, while allowing users to explore the shape, and more easily understand the 3D definition. The IP protection can be enhanced by restricting the JT representation to be tessellated data only.

Enabling Creo users to create quality JT files enables them to share JT data with their customers and suppliers, facilitating effective collaboration.
