Designed specifically for companies with limited or no access to the CATIA V5 application, but need to create or read Parasolid data from CATIA V5 and vice versa, Theorem’s latest CADverter is a translation solution designed to help solve the issue of working with and sharing incompatible data formats.
Using CADverter, CATIA V5 users can create and consume Parasolid data without needing access to a licence of the CATIA V5 application. The software is a bi-directional direct database converter between the Dassault Systems’ V5 modelling application and the Siemens’ Parasolid geometric modelling kernel. Developed using the Spatial Interop Development Environment, CADverter supports all CATIA V5 revisions up to V5-6R2018, and Parasolid from V7 to V29.
