The Kitagawa RK200 rotary table indexes through 90° in under a third of a second, reports distributor 1st Machine Tool Accessories, and achieves a maximum speed of 100 rpm.
A maintenance-free roller gear cam reducer, rather than traditional gear sets, decreases the motor rpm to the table's rotational speed. This, says 1st MTA, improves positioning accuracy, load capacity and efficiency, while reducing heat generation, even under continuous operation.
RK200 has a 114 mm diameter table with a centre height of 150 mm, 70 mm diameter through-hole, 240 and 108 Nm instantaneous and continuous holding torques respectively, and a maximum table load of 60 kg.
