ITC extends 2071 Cyber series cutters for composites

Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC) has extended its 2071 Cyber series of two-flute end-mills by adding a range of corner radius options designed to eliminate edge characteristics under difficult machining conditions.

The 2071 Cyber series is intended for the cutting abrasive materials, such as graphite, glass and fibre composites. These centre cutting, diamond coated end-mills have a particularly long length for machining cavities and complex geometries.

Available in diameters of 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, 2071 cutters have an overall length of 100 mm, a length of cut from 13 to 25 mm and a reach from 20 to 40 mm.

By extending the line-up, ITC is giving customers the option of a 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1 and 2 mm radius on each tool diameter. In addition, the 10 and 12 mm diameter tools are offered with a 3 mm radius.
