Hypertherm extends Duramax retrofit torch range

Hypertherm Duramax patented technology features a conical flow nozzle and spring electrode which, the company says, provide more reliable arc starting and help consumables to last up to six times longer than in the original plasma cutting system torches. Latest Duramax torches include an ergonomic 75º hand torch and convertible machine torch. Duramax retrofit torches are also available for Powermax1000, Powermax1250, and Powermax1650 systems. All of these torches have the same torch connection system as the original system torches which makes retrofitting easy, adds Hypertherm.
