Because of its reduced interference contour, the Spanntop Mini chuck comes with an adapter ring that makes it possible to use the modular system. The existing Mando Adapt mandrel and jaw module work well with the Spanntop Mini, says Hainbuch.
The Toplus version does not use an adapter ring, but instead has ring of attachment holes for fixing the jaw module – next year it will get its own Mando Adapt series of adapters.
And finally, in another development, Spanntop and Toplus Mini chucks both have full through-bore and are available in three standard lengths to suit all machines and draw-tubes.
