Flextraction offers Teka Filtercubes for multiple suction point dust extraction

Filtercube 2N/2H and Filtercube 4N/4H are BGIA-certified DIN EN ISO 15012-1 stationary central suction and filter units available from Germany company Teka through UK sole agent, Flextraction.

Filtercube 2N/2H and 4N/4H are designed for large fabrication shops requiring multiple suction from a number of extraction points within the workshop and are suitable for companies welding and working with non-alloyed metal, precious metals, galvanised materials and aluminium. The separation efficiency of both systems is over 99% conforming to welding fume category W3 for high alloyed steels, while the sound level is around 72 bG(A). Filtercube 2N/2H units offer a volumetric fan flow ranging from 2,500 m3/hour to 5,000 m3/hour and 4N/4H units from 3,500 m3/hour to 10,000 m3/hour. Filtercube 2N/2H and 4N/4H feature automatic microprocessor controlled de-dusting, using 'pulse control steering' with an easy to read text indicator, and cartridge de-dusting carried out using a power spray system. The power spray system requires only 4 bar for de-dusting compared to 8 bar when using jet and rotation nozzles and it also provides optimal distribution of the air in the cartridge via displacement bodies, explains Flextraction. Other features include an integrated control system for the fan plus a large dust collection tank with snap fasteners for easy access. A maintenance door, which has a laminated glass inspection window, provides access to the filter cartridge housing. Both 2N/2H and 4N/4H units are fitted with a silencer as standard. The 2N/2H units have two hanging filter cartridges each 600 mm long (2N) or a 1,200 mm (2H) and the 4N/4H have four hanging filters of the same length.
