The MiniMiser is a compact dispensing system used to lightly spray fluids such as diamond slurries and lapping lubricants – which can range from low to high viscosity – onto a lap plate or other surface. The unit provides control over both the duration of the spray (1 to 99 seconds) and the time between each spray (up to 999 seconds).
In most cases, diamond slurry requires agitation prior to dispensing, in order to ensure that the diamond particles are properly dispersed. To achieve this, Engis has developed its Autostirrer, which uses a magnetic spin bar to stir the slurry.
Although both the Hyprez Autostirrer and MiniMiser are designed to give their best results when used on Engis Hyprez machines, they can be deployed on all commercially available lapping machines.
