Developed for the manufacture of complex parts, such as cutting tools, hydraulic components and automotive parts, the machine’s natural granite bed ensures thermal stability. Furthermore, the cooled electro-spindles on the wheelhead produce a maximum peripheral wheel speed of 120 m/s, thus covering the range necessary for grinding with conventional abrasives (45-60 m/s) or super-abrasives (20-120 m/s) with maximum torque. The axes are moved by linear motors with glass scales employed for position control.
