CoroTurn SL interactive tool makes parting and grooving choices easier

The modular nature of the CoroTurn SL system means that the number of possible tool combinations is high. The first step is to select either an external diameter, internal diameter or face grooving application. In the case of face grooving operations, the user is then prompted to indicate if the tool position is located above or below the workpiece centreline. The next stage, for internal, external diameter and face grooving tasks, is to select the tool itself, with a multitude of straight, angle or 90° options available to match a large range of potential applications. The final step shows the user a 3D model of their optimised selection, complete with component parts.
