WNT makes the most of MACH 2010

WNT (UK) will make the most of the forthcoming MACH 2010 exhibition to launch several new cutting tool products, unveil its latest catalogue and promote the major benefits of its Tool-O-Mat tool vending system.

Among the products on display at WNT (UK)'s 250 m² stand (Stand 5448), and also in action on the XYZ Machine Tools stand (Stands 5460 and 5185), will be the new WTX Speed series of solid carbide drills, WTX Change drills, Master-Mill A2780 milling inserts, High Feed Drill, and the HCX1125 inserts for turning. WTX Speed solid carbide drills are capable of drilling at speeds up to 240 m/min due to the design of their asymmetric point geometry and WNT's new Ti800 coating. The WTX Change series has been extended to drill holes up to 8 x diameter as standard items. More information on the existing range can be found in the products section here. Master-Mill A2780 is a series of indexable inserts detailed here. Indexable insert drilling is catered for by the WNT High Feed Drill, which features square inserts in place of the more familiar Trigon-shaped insert. The benefit of this is the ability to increase feed rates and generate increased metal removal rates. HCX 1125, WNT's steel turning grade with Mastertool Dragonskin coating is detailed here. This focus on small to medium sized businesses by WNT (UK) and its ability to deliver a full product supply line for cutting tools to these businesses, a facility normally associated with much larger users of cutting tools, has assisted greatly in its relationship with XYZ Machine Tools resulting in the agreement by XYZ to use WNT tooling on all of its machines, at MACH 2010.
