Subcontractor Midas expands to meet demand

Bedford-based Midas Pattern Company, specialists in the manufacture and assembly of large, high quality, low volume polyurethane moulded enclosures, has seen a large increase in business over the last year.

To meet growing demand the company has doubled the size of its assembly area, upgraded its spray booth facilities, and completely re-equipped its CAD department, while increasing overall staff numbers by 20% since the beginning of the year. Managing director, Alan Rance, says; "We've seen solid growth in all areas of the business over the last 12 months. This has enabled us to increase investment, not only in the infrastructure of the company - with building upgrades and new equipment, but also to up-skill our existing staff, for example with Delcam Powershape training, alongside recruitment and training of the new personnel."
