SolidCAM 3D iMachining to get first UK outing at MACH 2014

SolidCAM UK will demonstrate 3D iMachining for the first time at MACH 2014.

MACH, organised by the Manufacturing Technologies Association, is the UK's premier manufacturing technology exhibition. It is held biennially and takes place next year from 7-11 April at Birmingham's NEC. 3D iMachining automatically produces a complete, ready-to-run CNC program with optimal cutting conditions, to rough and rest rough a complete 3D part, with true-scallop on all slopes, all in a single operation. According to Gordon Drysdale, managing director of SolidCAM UK: "We have shown by bench-marking before and after scenarios with the customers own parts that true and verifiable savings have been made on cycle times and tool-life."
