Osprey will be open for business as of 12 April, 2023. Promising fast deliveries, hassle-free ordering, and premium quality metal powders, the webshop will be inaugurated by a special edition episode of interactive webinar series Additive By Sandvik: Material Matters.
Last November, at Formnext 2022, Sandvik pre-launched a concept to offer alloys optimised for AM from their range of Osprey metal powders online.
The e-commerce solution will be servicing Europe as a first step, with more markets being added shortly, and offers on-demand access and fast shipping – while promising “expertise with every purchase” based on Sandvik’s long-standing position as a materials authority.

We are painfully aware of the struggles to acquire timely deliveries of high-quality metal powders, to keep important AM projects from coming to a halt. The metal powders initially available for online order include Osprey titanium powders, maraging steel, and nickel-based superalloys, as well as stainless steels such as duplex- and super duplex, austenitic, martensitic, and precipitation hardening steels. Viewers of the special edition webinar are also presented with an in-depth presentation of a selection of the alloys offered from stock.
