Nikken Kosakusho Europe is to open a new technical office and demonstration/testing facility on the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham.

Says Tony Bowkett, the group managing director of Nikken Kosakusho Europe: "Opening a new technical facility at the Advanced Manufacturing Park demonstrates our commitment to ensuring our key clients have rapid access to our technical expertise, particularly when it comes to the demanding challenges presented in the machining of hard to machine metals such as titanium, nickel alloys and higher grade steels that many organisations in the aerospace, defence, nuclear and other high-tech sectors now rely on to provide world-class products. "Over the last 18 months, Nikken Kosakusho Europe has continued to expand in both the UK and Europe. We have taken on new staff in the UK and in our overseas offices to ensure we can support our growing customer base and their specific requirements, when it comes to sourcing the very best NC tooling solutions available in the marketplace which are designed deliver a substantial return on investment. "Our involvement with both the AMRC and the Nuclear AMRC continues to develop and the opportunity to have a presence on-site can only be of benefit to all parties as we seek to deliver innovative cost-effective solutions for many of the world's leading engineering organisations". Nikken Kosakusho Europe will continue to maintain and develop its European warehouse, service centre and head office on Barbot Hall Industrial Estate in Rotherham, where the UK arm of the organisation was founded almost 25 years ago.
