Newburgh Engineering wins major Perkins order

Newburgh Engineering has secured a major engine component contract from Perkins Engines Company Ltd,

Newburgh's founding site, based in Bradwell, Derbyshire, has previously worked on smaller contracts for Perkins, but this contract win is a considerable boost for the Rotherham site's team. Commercial Manager Matthew Jewitt said: "We are overjoyed to have been awarded this prestigious contract with such a well-known, long-established company." Managing director Vincent Middleton (pictured) added: "This is a fantastic achievement for the Rotherham team, who have worked tirelessly to secure a contract that will see us build a working partnership with Perkins as we move forward into 2012."
