New management appointment at Mills CNC

Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of Doosan machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has appointed a new operations manager.

Fifty-year-old Heath Redman (pictured) took up the role at the start of April and has more than 30 years’ manufacturing and machine tool management experience gained in the UK and overseas.

The firm said that the position is critical in directing and focusing the company’s after-sales service resources to achieve a seamless transition between the many services provided as well as ensuring that they deliver (individually and collectively) real business benefits to customers.

Says Redman: “Mills’ reputation with customers and in the market generally for the integrity, accessibility and comprehensiveness of its after-sales service and support is second to none, and I am looking forward to being part of the team and to making a positive contribution that will help strengthen Mills’ service offering still further.”
