MSC Industrial Supply Co joins Bloodhound SSC effort as sponsor
MSC Industrial Supply Co has become a product sponsor of the Bloodhound Supersonic Car. The jet and rocket powered car is being developed by motorsport and aerospace engineers to set a new world land speed record of 1,000 mph, in South Africa, in 2016. MSC will be supplying products to facilitate and support the project.
A variety of products will be supplied and used to build the supersonic car. From turning inserts and drills to abrasive and measuring products - there are 90,000 stocked items in the MSC big book and at the disposal of the Bloodhound Project.
MSC supplies every metalworking and MRO product, including leading brands such as Castrol, 3M, Kennametal, Dormer, Mitutoyo, WD40 and Stanley. The availability of a wide selection of products makes MSC a convenient supplier for the Bloodhound Project.
The MSC will be joining the Bloodhound SSC stand at the 2014 MACH show.
