MACH Machine Tools to exhibit latest machine tools at Southern Manufacturing

Bristol-based MACH Machine Tools and Machine Tool Sales Online (MTSO), both part of the Vigilance Group, and suppliers of new and used CNC and manual machine tools to UK and Irish manufacturers, are exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing 2023 from two separate stands at the Show.

On Stand J275, MACH Machine Tools will be showcasing a range of CNC and manual machines – many of which have, in recent years, become technology ‘staples’ for toolmakers and component manufacturers in the UK and Ireland.

Specific CNC machines being exhibited include the high productivity DynaPath-controlled MDS 845-8T and MDS 900-4T toolroom mills, both equipped with integrated tool change capabilities, as well as a flexible, large-capacity MDL 1800 flatbed lathe with an integrated auto tool post.

MACH’s manual machine range is represented by a best-selling VS-1SP (Super Precision) turret-type milling machines and a, recently-introduced and competitively-priced, 1440 UV Trainer lathe.

A unique feature on the stand is a dedicated CNC simulator station where visitors can familiarise and ‘test-out’ the advanced DynaPath control system for themselves.

On Stand H310, Machine Tool Sales Online (MTSO) will showcase a range of used machine tool models from its extensive stock of pre-owned machines.

To demonstrate what sets MTSO apart in the crowded used machine tool market, the company will highlight the care and attention it takes to prepare its pre-owned machines, prior to delivery and installation at customers’ facilities, to ensure they deliver the performance and precision demanded of them.

This will be achieved through a number of ‘live’ tests performed by MTSO engineers and include Renishaw Ball Bar testing and a number of positional and repeatability accuracy tests that every MTSO machine is subjected to, and has to pass, prior to delivery.

David Andrew, managing director, The Vigilance Group, said: "Southern Manufacturing 2023 provides the ideal platform for us to showcase our latest MACH CNC and manual machine tools, and a selection of high-quality MTSO used machines to visitors.

“We have two stands at the event: one for MACH Machine Tools and the other for Machine Tool Sales Online (MTSO).

“Our message to visitors attending, or thinking of attending, the show is a simple one.

“If you’re looking for a best-in-class new or used CNC or manual machine tool solution – check out both our stands.

“You won’t be disappointed.”
