In February 2008, Leader CNC, Nuneaton celebrates its tenth year in business.

Started by Rob Prosser in February 1998 as an engineering company repairing machine tools, Leader CNC has become a provider of high quality machine tools, service and maintenance solutions. From a year one turnover of £165,000, the sales and service agent for Toshiba and Kitamura machine tools, and more recently DMC and Monforts turning centres, has now grown to a company having a turnover in excess of £3.5 million. The first agency Leader CNC took on was Toshiba, with Kitamura machining centres following in 2004. The growth has continued, and to complement the large Toshiba milling and boring machines and Kitamura machining centres, Leader CNC became the UK distributor for DMC turning centres in 2006. During its tenth year the expansion has continued with Leader CNC becoming the UK agent for German machine tool manufacturer Monforts. To support expansion, Leader CNC has announced the appointment of two new sales engineers - Roy Luton and David Break, who join the team with over 30 and 25 years of experience, respectively. “The business has grown at a phenomenal pace over the last couple of years and increasing our machine range further to fulfil the diverse needs of the market has been a revelation to us,” said sales director Mike Serzeniewski. “However, the growth is not solely down to our careful selection of high quality machine tool brands but our ability to service and support the products as well as machines sold by competitors. Our business was built upon the service and support expertise of our staff and this is an element still at the heart of our business.” Machines from Monforts, DMC and Kitamura will all be on show at MACH 2008.
