Seco Tools UK’s ‘Inspiration through Innovation’ advanced manufacturing best-practice event takes place in October.

Hosted at the company’s Technology Centre in Alcester from 10 to 11 October, the event will include 50+ exhibitors, nine leading-edge seminars and several innovative and challenging machining demonstrations.

Individual seminars include: the best-practice machining of different materials; additive manufacturing…its use, application and potential; and augmented reality and its use in monitoring machining processes.

Exhibitors cover machine tool, work-holding, CAD/CAM, cutting fluid and measurement and inspection technologies, as well as training organisations, trade and industry associations, and advisory bodies.

Explains Seco Tools UK’s strategic marketing, products and services manager Mike Fleming: “The popularity of ‘Inspiration through Innovation’ is self-evident and shows no sign of abating. At the event this year there are 20% more exhibitors attending than in 2016, and a full programme of seminars and machining demonstrations will, I’m confident, help pull in the crowds.

“Inspiration through Innovation’ provides the opportunity for manufacturers to ‘connect to and connect with’ a range of technology providers and specialists.”

Seco is also exhibiting its latest products and a range of its commercial and technical consultancy services at the event.

The event is free to visitors, and doors open on both days at 9.00am – closing at 7.30pm on the 10 October and 5.00pm on the 11 October.
