Hone-All Precision looks to corporate image and branding

Hone-All Precision is pushing forward with development plans, a key element of which are its corporate image and branding.

Engineering companies are often their own worst enemies when it comes to image and brand awareness, but Hone-All Precision is ensuring that the first impression that a potential customer gets of the Leighton Buzzard-based sub-contractor is an extremely positive one. "We have always paid attention to our profile but, since relocating to our new facility, we are more aware that image is important, particularly to the major customers that we are working with in the oil and gas, defence, automotive and medical sectors," says Andrea Rodney, director, Hone-All Precision. So, the company has embarked on a rebranding initiative starting with a new corporate website (www.hone-all.co.uk). This will focus on Hone-All's ability to deliver a single-source supply for complex machined components across a range of technical disciplines, such as turning and milling, as well as its core competencies of deep hole drilling and honing. "For obvious reasons, we are associated closely with honing, but the business has developed considerably in recent years and the extensive list of machining services that we offer, ranging from deep hole boring, deep hole drilling, CNC gundrilling and complex CNC turning as well as the CNC honing, is opening up numerous possibilities in sectors such as oil and gas and defence." Hone-All's new website will reflect this by highlighting specific machining technologies and the extensive services that the company can provide, these will appear under tabs on the website with specific icons representing the different technologies. To support the website, Hone-All is developing an App that customers can use to quickly identify what capacity is available for each specific service offered by the company, providing a quick reference prior to making a formal inquiry. "Everything we do at Hone-All is customer service driven and the new website, icons and App are all part of our commitment to provide the best level of customer support. They will also help to change the perception of the business as we are now more than 'just honing' and are able to provide an in-depth, single-source supply of precision machined components, helping customers to save time and money," says Ms Rodney.
