Hexagon Metrology seminar success will see more of the same

More than 50 delegates attended seminars held recently at Hexagon Metrology's technical centres in Telford and Swindon to learn more about the latest developments in measuring techniques.

Sessions on understanding measurement uncertainty and geometric dimensioning, as well as tolerancing were so well received that plans are in hand to run a number of dedicated workshops later this year. As well as presentations on best practices and vision, Hexagon's team of application engineers guided delegates through the latest features of the PC-DMIS software package, and demonstrated products such as the Romer portable measuring arm. Hexagon also presented every delegate with a free digital caliper and organised a special quiz with top prizes of 16gb iPad Minis, which were won by Matt Robson from Amdale and Christopher Williams from Nifco UK. Said aftermarket commercial manager Sam O'Prey: "I'm delighted with the positive feedback from these informative seminars, which demonstrate Hexagon's ongoing commitment to offering a wide variety of value-added customer services."
