Hardinge reveals new hard turning and milling development at IMTS

Hardinge is promising to set a new standard in hard turning and milling at the forthcoming Chicago IMTS (6-13 September).

The company is to unveil its new flagship product line, the SR-Series turning centres with two fully functioning prototypes, the SR 51 MSY Super Precision and the SR 150 M, on show. At the top of the range are three Super Precision models that "lead the world in high-precision capabilities" (SR 42, SR 51, SR 65). These machines take hard turning and even hard milling to a whole new level with the ability to turn over 80 Rockwell, says Hardinge. For more details see Product Launches section.
