Gildemeister AG to become DMG Mori Seiki AG - Mori Seiki name change to follow

At its 111th annual general meeting, held on 17 May, German machine tool and renewable energy technology firm Gildemeister Aktiengesellschaft (Gildemeister AG) saw approval, by 94.09%, for Gildemeister Aktiengesellschaft to be renamed DMG Mori Seiki Aktiengesellschaft (DMG Mori Seiki AG).
In May 2013, Gildemeister signed an agreement with cooperation partner Mori Seiki to "deepen the trust-based partnership between the two companies".
Mori Seiki will seek a company name change at its AGM on 17 June, asking that it become 'DMG Mori Seiki Co., Ltd'. As soon as this resolution has been adopted, and the Gildemeister Aktiengesellschaft capital increases provided for in the cooperation agreement have been carried out (see here), a change to the articles of association and the entry in the commercial register will be registered.
The moniker DMG Mori Seiki is already adopted by combined directly owned distributors, such as DMG Mori Seiki at Coventry.
