Metrology specialist Faro UK says its MACH 2014 exhibition attendance was as "an overwhelming success".

Andrew Tagg, Faro regional manager enthused: "The timing of MACH 2014 could not have been better, with so many advanced products to show, MACH was a phenomenal success for Faro UK, at times we had potential customers literally queuing up for demonstrations. "Although the last MACH proved to be an excellent show for us, the amount of leads generated at this exhibition was way up on the previous exhibition. In addition, we have already received orders for products demonstrated at the show and our sales engineers will now be kept extremely busy for the foreseeable future performing in-house demonstrations." Faro reports its staff were kept busy demonstrating the company's cutting-edge metrology products, including the industry leading portable CMM, the Faro Gage, designed for use on smaller parts. In addition, the Faro Edge ScanArm ES, with enhanced scanning technology, was regularly put through its paces. The combination of multiple hardware and software improvements has boosted the performance of the Faro Edge ScanArm ES by improving its ability to scan challenging surfaces, the company adds. Also popular were demonstrations of the latest Faro Edge, which features the lightest and smallest laser line probe and touch-screen computer for basic measurements. And said to be ideal for large volume measurements, the faro Laser Tracker Vantage was also another draw.
