Expanding metrology specialist Hexagon goes direct in Thailand
Hexagon AB has acquired assets with respect to measurement technology from the Thaimach Sales & Service Co, which is Hexagon Metrology's largest distributor of co-ordinate measuring machines in Thailand today.
A new company, Hexagon Measurement Technologies Thailand, is will be established as of 1 September 2006, based in Bangkok.
"Hexagon Metrology's sales of metrology products in Thailand amount to approximately $3 million. Our new subsidiary will continue to positively develop Hexagon's operations in this fast growing market," says Ola Rollén (pictured), CEO and president of Hexagon.
