Eclipse to reveal Filtramag+ at MACH 2014

Eclipse Magnetics will be showcasing its innovative new Filtramag+ at MACH 2014 (Birmingham NEC, 7-11 April). Featured on Stand 4202, Hall 4, the new innovation is said to incorporate a number of innovative, high performance features such as 'Dual Flow Technology'. This ensures that the fluid is exposed to the high intensity magnets for the maximum length of time, with the result that it quickly and efficiently removes almost 100% of ferrous contamination, says Eclipse. Filtramag+ also features an optional mesh strainer for removing non-magnetic contamination.

Alongside Filtramag+, Eclipse Magnetics will show its filtration range, which is said to offer manufacturers a number of advantages over traditional media in terms of payback, environmental impact and production efficiency. Magnetic filtration requires no consumable items, which cuts costs and waste disposal in comparison to filters that require consumable items such paper or cartridge filters. Eclipse's high intensity magnets ensure that even sub-micron ferrous particles are extracted and this is a major advantage over traditional filters that typically only remove particles of 10 micron or greater. According to Eclipse, this significantly improves the part surface finish and wear and tear on machinery. MACH 2014 - Birmingham NEC, 7-11 April
