C Dugard Machine Tools Open House set for October

The event will be held at the company's head office, in Hove, and the machine tool specialist highlights that the traditional curry night will be a feature, held on the Wednesday (16). Machines on show will include: the Dugard X5 - a 5-axis VMC fitted with Nikken 5AX-350 ZA tilt/turn table and featuring a 20 kW/12,000 rpm spindle and XYZ travels of 1,020, 610 and 810 mm; the Dugard 760E VMC - 11 kW/11,000 rpm spindle and 762, 410, 460 mm XYZ travels; the Dugard Academy 446 Multi Function Lathe (pictured) – a flatbed lathe with max swing over bed 446 mm, max swing over cross slide 240 mm, max swing in gap 546 mm and gap length from spindle nose 243 mm; and the Samsung LCV500 VMC - 11/15 kW spindle delivering 10,000 rpm, with and XYZ travels of 1,050, 520, 510 mm.
