Biggest Water Jet Sweden profiler, so far, in UK
The biggest Water Jet Sweden cutting machine yet to be installed in the UK is now cutting and profiling material at Oxford-based Metalfab.
The machine has a cutting area of 4 by x 6 m and was specified with four cutting heads, with the 100 hp pump output delivered by two separate 50 hp intensifier pumps and delivery systems to provide the machine with duplicate twin-head operating capabilities.
All four heads can be used simultaneously should such a need arise, but initially the company is producing large components rather than small parts.
