The XORBIT (XO), has all the normal design characteristics of a Wenzel bridge CMM, such as a mechanically accurate, granite structure designed for high rigidity, accuracy and performance, but has one major difference – cost. The machine has fewer parts and a simpler design and will largely be sold with the lower-end touch trigger probe systems and OpenDMIS measuring software.
