A new USB camera for use on all Aberlink's CMMs supplies class-leading, non-distorted aberration-free images to PC monitors.
Building on the merits of its predecessor, Aberlink’s advanced new camera boasts higher resolution, an increased frame rate, rapid auto-focus ability, cross hair functionality and has the capability to synchronise its exposure function to the light controller.
It can be used in conjunction with a touch-trigger probe, enabling parts to be measured using a combination of both contact and non-contact techniques.
Unlike other camera systems, there are no cables or cumbersome connections to worry about, all of the camera’s contacts are made by the simple action of magnetically snapping it into place onto a CMM’s quill. To help provide clarity of edges when performing complex measuring procedures, a fully controllable ring-light is able to provide optimum illumination from above the component.
