Rofin offers StarPico ultra-short pulse laser for ‘cold’ material processing
Rofin's StarPico, pico second laser allows 'cold' material processing of hard and brittle workpieces and is particularly suited to applications within the electronics, semiconductor, precision engineering, micro and medical device sectors.
The Rofin Star Pico patented resonator design and robust set-up delivers a pulse duration of 12 ps, 100 µJ pulse energy and an adjustable pulse repetition rate of up to 20 MHz.
The StarPico is available from Rofin-Baasel UK as an OEM laser source or can be supplied as a complete laser solution, equipped with beam guidance, fixed optics or a galvo head for high performance and high precision cutting, structuring, ablating, marking and drilling. A frequency-doubled version with a wavelength of 532 nm is also available.
