PVD coated insert grade for drilling and grooving

TN6030 (HC-P30) WIDIA extends Widia's product offering for drilling and grooving applications. This addition extends tool life, even in the most demanding operations resulting in higher productivity.TN6030 has been engineered to provide high resistance to oxidation and a high level of hot hardness. TN6030 has an optimised balance of toughness and wear resistance which, combined with superior edge strength, give this new PVD coated carbide very high resistance to crack propagation. When using TN6030 for drilling and grooving applications, increases in feeds and speeds can result in productivity gains of up to 30 per cent. TN6030 is available in indexable inserts for drilling and grooving applications in steel, stainless steel and high temperature alloys.
