Latest Datalogic fibre lasers now available from Laser Lines

Laser Lines has released the Datalogic Arex 400 range of fibre laser marking systems into the UK market. Designed to fit in with robotic operations on a production line, the markers are said to offer versatility within a compact footprint. The Arex 400 systems have a high-resistance, single conduit head connection, and the capability to operate at up to 40°C (at 100% power) as standard.

Arex 400 systems offer the smallest laser head size presently available in the Datalogic range, which makes them suitable for those who need production line integration where there is restricted space. The head is also light, so can be held by a simple-to-fit bracket, while the ‘Green-Spot’ feature gives the operator visible feedback on the completion of successful marking.

Chris Ogden, manager of the Industrial Laser and Photonics Divisions at Laser Lines, says: “The Arex 400 range is particularly suited to advanced manufacturing systems where traceability, part ID and brand markings are paramount, such as those found in the automotive market.”

The Datalogic Arex 400 laser controller provides enhanced embedded-PC performance and improved connectivity, with low-noise operation and washable filters. Better safety circuitry ensures the systems are suitable for demanding OEM integrations. In addition, extended repetition rates have been added to the Datalogic range, making the systems more suitable for marking plastics and heat-sensitive materials. The Arex 400 range comes with IP64 protection and a robust body that is machined from solid aluminium. Power options include 10W, 20W, 20W MOPA, 30W and 50W.
