Igus has developed a new material ‘igumid HT’, which is resistant to hot chips up to 850 °C.
In the past, the size, temperature and number of chips sometimes left burn marks or would burn their way into the thermoplastic coverings. The new material eliminates these issues up to the stated temperature.
