High performance; multi-application drills

The MP-X range of carbide drills has been developed to meet the growing demand for cost-effective, high performance tooling, offering multi-application versatility without compromising quality. All MP-X Drills have been designed to provide consistently high productivity across a wide range of materials, including; carbon and alloy steels; stainless steels; cast iron; titanium; copper; and aluminium alloys. The MP-X programme consists of four ranges of Titanium Aluminium Nitride (TiAlN) coated drills, in solid design (R454 & R458) or with internal coolant holes (R453 & R457). The multi-layer TiAlN coating gives increased wear protection and improved cutting edge stability resulting in longer tool life and increased productivity. In addition, the 140° point angle facilitates easier centring with reduced thrust force requirements.
