Hainbuch’s Testit software available for Siemens CNCs

Hainbuch says that software for its Testit clamping force measurement gauges is now available on a data carrier for installation on Siemens Sinumerik CNCs (Sinumerik 840D sl plus PCU50). This means that a separate laptop is no longer required and that manufacturing with theoretical clamping force is a thing of the past.

With Testit, Hainbuch says that the operator always knows what clamping forces apply and where, as well as the actual maintenance status of the clamping device. Key advantages of the system include:

  • Force measurement for both external and internal diameter clamping
  • Can be used for rotating and stationary applications
  • Direct input to the Siemens CNC
