Active pull-down force distributed on six jaws with highest axial run-out accuracy is delivered by the Schunk ROTA NCS sealed 6-jaw power chuck. Suitable for demanding precision machining on a lathe, the chuck is available in 250, 315, 400 and 500 mm sizes.
The active pull-down effect produced by the ROTA NCS produces best results in terms of plane parallelism and rectangularity. The achievable axial run-out accuracy is less than 0.01 mm. The six jaws allow clamping of non-circular components, while thin-walled workpieces are treated with utmost care and minimum deformation is caused.
Integrated permanent lubrication ensures a constant jaw clamping force and hence a permanently high level of efficiency.
