Hilma Super Compact Vice for 5-axis machining has optimum jaw width combined with a clamping force that more than meets the demands of faster machining times.
The range offers jaw widths form 60 to 120 mm with a selection of standard jaws to suit the majority of applications. High clamping jaws have been specifically designed to hold the component as high as possible on the table, allowing for the shortest spindle tools to be used. This well balanced design between base and moveable jaw is essential for performing machining operations very close to the component face.
High cutting forces are catered for by the repeatable and controllable clamping forces of up to 40 kN on the 120 mm jaw width. The system is mechanically operated and the clamping range extends from 5 mm to 212 mm.
