Specially developed new , combined with precise motion control and a high precision spindle make the Talyrond 386 the ideal instrument for camshaft measurement. The TR386 Camshaft Measurement System is fitted with a precision spindle and ceramic arm, both utilising glass scales. These axes are synchronised with the gauge during roundness measurement allowing the stylus tip to follow and plot the cam profile. Measured data can be compared to the nominal cam profile utilising Taylor Hobson’s camshaft software.
