MACH 2018 – new upgraded home for UK’s première manufacturing technology show

Exhibitors and visitors to 2018’s MACH exhibition (9-13 April at Birmingham’s NEC) can expect both a better exhibition experience and supporting facilities.

Its organiser, the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), has moved the event from its traditional home of NEC halls 4 and 5 to halls 6, 17,18,19 and 20, while millions have been spent on upgrading the NEC site, with many tens of millions yet to be spent.

The driving seat of the body charged with overall exhibition organisation and experience, the MTA’s exhibition committee, is also witnessing change, with Renishaw plc’s head of communications, Chris Pockett, heading up the committee and taking on the role that Citizen Machinery UK’s managing director Geoff Bryant has held for some time.
