Tilsed brings with him a wealth of metal-cutting experience having previously worked in sales at Fenn Tools and, more recently, OSG UK Ltd, a supplier of drills, taps, end mills and indexable cutting tools.
Having served his time in sheet-metal manufacturing, Tilsed changed his focus to metal cutting and developed expertise in aerospace, automotive and motorsport engineering, all of which are key markets for Gewefa. In fact, Gewefa UK has preferred partner status as a supplier of tool-holding technology with a number of prominent tier-one manufacturers in these sectors, offering a range of products and solutions. The company is also an exclusive supplier of tooling packages, serving many leading machine-tool manufacturers.
Tilsed will work from his base in Dorset.
