Ellesco appointment is part of expansion and development agenda

Guy Newton has been appointed as the new general manager at deburring, finishing and polishing specialist Ellesco, the UK dealer for Timesavers, Kuhlmeyer, Autopulit and Sugino.

Appointed to review all aspects of the business and deliver growth and enhanced market presence for the business with a fresh and modern approach, since joining, Mr Newton has worked to support the modernising and streamlining of the business, enhancing the sales and service operation, as well as driving the company's extensive consumable range into the marketplace. His appointment will enable company owner Vincent Simonis to develop the robotic, subcontract and consumable divisions of the South Coast company. Mr Newton comments: "Ellesco is an established brand, with 40 years' experience of supplying industry-leading machine tools, servicing and consumables for the surface preparation and finishing industries. With over 2,500 machine installations in the UK, our aim is to show our strong customer base, and the whole UK market, how our latest technologies, consumable products and service contracts can improve productivity, quality and above all reduce operational costs for the end users. "2014 will be an exciting period for our company, with the launch of a new website, a company re-branding, the introduction of new IT and CRM systems, and a company expansion that will increase our staff levels in engineering service, customer service and sales to promote growth and improved service. We are investing heavily in the business, with the focus built around enhancing the levels of support and service for our customer base. Some of the recent developments within the company and with the new product ranges are already benefitting new and existing customers. We are also excited to be introducing a new supplier of robotic deburring solutions and a new Timesavers/Grindingmaster range at MACH 2014."
