Joining the company in January as an area sales manager, Alex has been employed to support customers and expand sales in the South West of the UK – further bolstering the sales team.
With a degree as well as a Masters degree in mechanical engineering, Alex has added to his impressive academic knowledge by spending the last seven years with a leading workholding and ancillary equipment supplier to the machine tool industry.
During this period, Alex progressed his career from technical engineering support to technical sales engineer. At this leading company, Alex provided technical support to customers through the development of innovative solutions that resolve engineering issues facing engineering companies. This encompassed everything from problem-solving to creating productivity solutions for manufacturers, which eventually moved Alex into the realms of technical sales in the South West area.
This experience, knowledge and understanding of manufacturers in the South West will be a real asset to one of the UK’s leading machine tools companies.
