Metrology Direct adds direct-to-video Hawkeye rigid borescopes to its range
Metrology Direct has added US corporation Gradient Lens' Hawkeye integral CCD camera, direct-to-video systems to its range of precision rigid borescopes. They have the benefit of helping to reduce eyestrain for regular borescope operators.
Hawkeye rigid video borescopes come as complete kits or existing Hawkeye rigid borescopes can be upgraded. Each complete kit contains a Hawkeye rigid video borescope, an LED light source, a 90° DOV mirror tube, video cable, cleaning kit and a rugged aluminium Hawkeye Pro carrying case.
Three view and capture options are available. The battery-powered handheld portable video monitor option provides single touch image capture with images saved in JPEG or ASF formats to an SD memory card. Alternatively, the system can be connected to a laptop or desktop PC via VC-USB2 interface and supplied toolbox software used to capture, annotate, store and email images. Finally, users can connect directly to a bench top video monitor.
